Jaipur (15 Aug.) A significant step towards improved sanitation and access to clean drinking water was taken today as a state-of-the-art girls’ toilet complex and a RO and cooler powered drinking water station were inaugurated at Mahatma Gandhi Sr. Sec School, Gandhi Nagar, Jaipur. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Sh Bhupender Singh Dak, DG (Jails), IPS officer, Rajasthan Police, who commended the efforts of Round Table India and its subsidiary table JPRT171 for their contribution to the development of educational infrastructure.
The new facilities, which were meticulously constructed under the RTI Assist program by Round Table India, aim to provide modern amenities for the students. The construction was supported not only by generous funding from GA Infra, a leading construction company in the country, but also by their expertise in executing the project.
With a focus on inclusivity, the newly built facilities are disabled-friendly and equipped with the latest fixtures. This initiative is especially crucial as the school previously had only five toilets for approximately 300 girl students, a situation that has now been rectified with the addition of these new facilities.
Sh Bhupender Singh Dak, the esteemed chief guest of the event, expressed his satisfaction with the vision and dedication displayed by Round Table India in their pursuit of enhancing educational infrastructure. He praised the quality of work done by the organization, as well as the previously inaugurated classrooms at the same school by Sh B D Kalla, Education Minister, Rajasthan Government. Furthermore, he extended his support and offered assistance for similar initiatives at the school located within the Open Jail premises.
Tr Prateek Agarwal, Chairman of JPRT171, shed light on the project’s details and highlighted how Round Table India is actively contributing to creating a better future for students by providing them with improved infrastructure.
The Project Convener, Jai Pandya, and Rajat Bohra provided insights into the project’s cost, design, and its potential benefits for the students.
Himanshu, Area Chairman, expressed his appreciation for the noteworthy work carried out by Round Table India and pledged continued and enhanced support for the table’s future projects.
This initiative signifies a significant stride towards better educational facilities, hygiene, and accessibility for students, reinforcing Round Table India’s commitment to the community’s growth and development.
